The Camino went along the highway all day – 19 km today. Love these short days.

First farm animals we’ve seen since the early days in the mountains

Snack time – the ubiquitous tortilla. This one in Revenga de Campos was extra good. And, look, Ken is eating vegetables…or are tomatoes fruits?

Nice of them to cut a tunnel through the weeping willow, which is the last species of tree I expected to see on the dreaded meseta as they are water lovers.

Ken really likes this picture.

We would occasionally see these random poplar plantations, heavily pruned and cultivated, only 1 to 3 hectares in size. No idea as to their purpose.
