Another treasured Camino moment. Stopped to take photos of the thistle flowers. Ken’s eyes were rolling until we saw this guy. Hummingbird hawk moth. He wouldn’t sit still for a clear photo but I have great footage. He is about an inch long with a proboscis that seems to be twice as long as he is.
The bread truck drives around the town honking its horn and the villagers gather in the square to get their fresh bread for the day. No Wonderbread here.
