Water fountains come in all shapes and sizes.

It’s a little hard to see but all those black dots are pilgrims. There is a huge bulge that has not been seen before with the result that there are more pilgrims than there are albergue beds. I have noticed that the camaraderie of the walk is significantly less than at the beginning. People put their heads down and race to the albergues to get a bed. No time for socializing, for looking back at how far up have come, or just stopping to listen to the birdsong, which be spectacular.
